STANDALONE STORAGE OR HYBRID SYSTEM ANALYSIS

The Fractal Modelis a technoeconomic energy storage modeling package used project development, due diligence and RFP evaluation. The Fractal Model provides investment grade analysis while simulating performance, degradation, warranty, costs and revenues to optimize the economics of your energy storage and hybrid projects. The Fractal Model platform is a MS Excel package with an additional JavaScript engine through a Microsoft  Add-In. It is available through a license with quarterly updates.

  • Project Development

    Utilize the Fractal Model for pre-construction design, investment analysis, and sensitivities. Find ideas projects used using our mapping tools and forecasted revenues. Focus on maximizing long-term returns for both merchant and contracted business models. Optimize the sizing and off-take structure.

  • Due Diligence / M&A

    Utilize the Fractal Model to assess the risks and impacts associated with merchant revenue forecasts and financial assumptions. Conduct stress tests on your base case and perform additional sensitivity analyses on the project proforma to understand potential variations.
